Srikrishna Dwaraka Pravesha

Chapter 11 of Skandha 1 of Srimad Bhagavatham, titled Srikrishna Dwaraka Pravesha, describes Lord Krishna’s triumphant and joy-filled return to Dwaraka after completing his divine duties in Hastinapura.

As Bhagavan enters Dwaraka, the entire city radiates with love, celebration, and devotion. The streets are decorated, conch shells are blown, and songs of praise echo through the air. The people—men, women, and children—rush to catch a glimpse of their beloved Lord. Each sees Krishna not just as a king, but as their very soul, their eternal well-wisher, and protector.

This chapter gives us a glimpse of:

  • The unconditional love the people of Dwaraka have for Krishna
  • The beauty of divine kingship, where the ruler is loved for his grace, not feared for his power
  • The Lord’s compassionate interactions with his family and citizens

In this 8-minute 10-second Sanskrit chanting, we experience the blissful homecoming of Bhagavan—a moment of divine beauty, emotion, and transcendence.

📿 To see Krishna is to see your own soul reflected in divine light. Dwaraka rejoices—and so does the heart of every devotee.
